---------------------
AllSizer allows the user to resize windows from any corner or border.
When the pointer is near a border, it will take a shape that indicates which
directions the window may be resized. While it has this shape, press and hold
the left mouse button. Drag the mouse until the window is of the desired size
and release the button.
When resizing from the top or left border, the window will be moved and
resized or resized and moved, depending on whether you are resizing up or
left, or down or right.
If you do not want to resize but need to use the mouse in the border
area, hold down either Alt key.
Corner sizing may be disabled with -c on the command line or NOCORNERS
in the icon's ToolType gadget.
Many programs open windows without a size gadget. These windows were
never intended to be resized. To enable easy use of things like scroll
gadgets in borders and to avoid excessive pointer changes, AllSizer will not
size these windows.
With some programs that use a custom pointer, AllSizer will not change
the pointer. You can still resize these, however.
There will be times when the pointer remains in one of the arrow
shapes. This usually happens when another window opens while an arrow shape
is being displayed. In this case, move the pointer to a border.
SHELL USAGE
From the shell type AllSizer at the prompt or enter AllSizer in your
startup-sequence (or better, your User-Startup file). There is no need to
"run" AllSizer. Execute AllSizer again to remove it. There is one command
line argument, -c which disables corner sizing.
In its JUMPDISK appearance, the program can be run by typing:
j:allsizer/allsizer <press RETURN>
WORKBENCH USAGE
Double-click on the AllSizer icon. Double-click again to remove
AllSizer. NOCORNERS may be entered in the ToolTypes gadget to disable corner
sizing. 2.x users may drag the AllSizer icon into their WBSTARTUP drawer. You
should enter DONOTWAIT in the ToolTypes gadget.
